Cheetah is the latest addition to our family. He is a Marble Bengal cat, 2-1/2 years old we recently adopted from a family that could no longer take care of him. He is going through a major adjustment right now and probably missing his old family. He is a very affectionate cat but still afraid of his own shadow. This photo reminds me of Puss 'N Boots from the movie "Shrek".
He is an adorable looking cat. Just want to give him a good scratch under the chin.

(In a more manly tone) On the photography side of things the lighting is amazing! Very impressed. When I try taking pictures of Dante he hardly ever turns out, but you captured Cheetah brilliantly in that photo.
Yecap - Cheetah thanks you for the compliment, as do I. He was still a bit freaked out by the new surroundings when I pulled out my camera. I let him sniff it all over and then he was ok with me pointing this big black thing at his face. I bounced the flash straight up toward the ceiling and had a diffuser on the flash as well to soften the light. Some animals can be difficult to photograph especially if they move around a lot or if they have black fur. Why don't you make Dante your next photo challenge?
